There are two types of Team Members in the AiSensy App:
1. Live Chat Team Member- Live Chat Team Members only have permission to intervene & respond to chats in AiSensy App. Also, they have access to modify user profiles on the Live Chat & History Page.
2. Managers- Managers, on the other hand, can overlook everything and shoot WhatsApp Broadcasts & API campaigns.
As the owner, You can add multiple team members & assign roles to those team members in AiSensy App easily.

Steps to create Team Members & Managers in AiSensy App
Go to the Team Page in Manage Section
Only the owner can add Managers & Team Members to AiSensy App.
Once you have the owner's access, go to the Team Page in Manage Section.
2. Click 'Add Team Member'
Now, click 'Add Team Member' as shown in the image below
3. Fill Team Member Details
Clicking this will open a pop-up box where you need to fill in the details of your team members.
These details include:
Team Member’s Name, Email and WhatsApp Number- Enter the team member’s details and select the country code for their WhatsApp number.
Role- Select Team Member or Manager.
User Name and Password- Under Login details, add the credentials the team member will use to log in to AiSensy App.
After adding the details, press ‘Create’.
4. Assign Roles
The final step involves assigning roles & responsibilities to the Team Members. You can either assign 'Team Member' or 'Managers' in the AiSensy App.
Click the dropdown button as shown in the image on the right & assign them roles accordingly.

Q. Does the Owner count as part of the free 5 team members?
No. The Owner is separate and does not count toward the free team member quota.
You get:
1 Owner
+5 free team members
+any purchased team members
Q. How to change Team Member Login Password?
If you forget your password, don’t worry- you can change it easily.
To change the User Password, go to your profile & click ‘Edit’. Change the password and re-enter the latest password to confirm the change.
Q. How many team member dashboards can I use in the AiSensy Platform?
You get 1 Owner + 5 FREE Team Members access included with basic and pro plans. Additional Team Members are charged ₹750 + 18% GST/month each. You can add as many team members as you want!
Q. Can the Team Member make changes to the User Profile on History Page?
Yes, the Team Members can make changes in the User Profile by adding/removing Tags. Only the intervention can not be done.
Q. What is the pricing for additional team members?
Each additional team member is billed at a flat per-team member rate based on your billing frequency:

Discounts are automatically applied for quarterly and yearly billing.
Q. If I purchase team members in the middle of my billing cycle, how am I charged?
AiSensy charges you pro-rated for the remaining days in your current cycle.
Example: If your plan has 15 days left, you’ll only pay for those 15 days.
Q. How does renewal billing work for team members?
At your plan’s renewal, the system checks how many team members you currently have:
Up to 5 team members → included free (free only if you are on a paid AiSensy plan)
More than 5 team members → you are billed only for the extra team members
The charge applies per team member, based on your plan’s billing frequency.
Q. What if I don’t want to keep the extra team members I purchased?
You can schedule additional team members for deletion before your renewal date.
Here’s what happens:
Mark the extra team members for deletion.
On renewal day, AiSensy automatically removes those team members.
You are billed only for the remaining active team members.
Example:
You have 5 free team members + 3 paid team members.
You schedule the 3 paid team members for deletion.
→ On renewal, they get removed
→ You pay ₹0 for team members in the next cycle.
Q. I’m an older (legacy) user with more than 5 team members. Do I get charged?
Yes. Legacy users who previously had more than 5 free team members will begin incurring per-team member charges from their next renewal cycle.
Q. How do I purchase additional team members?
Use the “Buy Team Members” button on the Team page.
Once you complete payment:
Your subscription gets updated
Your team members limit increases
The new limit appears instantly through real-time UI updates.
Q. Can I switch an existing team member to a manager and vice versa?
Yes, you can change roles anytime from the Team section without extra cost.
Role changes do not affect billing — only the number of team members matters.
Q. Does per-team member pricing affect the permissions of Team Members or Managers?
No. Pricing only affects the count of team members.

Team Members → Live Chat + edit profiles
Managers → Full access including broadcasts & campaigns
