Requirements to connect TagMango with AiSensy
Before starting, make sure you have:
An AiSensy account with an approved WhatsApp Business API.

2. Apply for the WhatsApp API with AiSensy

Once these requirements are ready, you can connect your TagMango account with AiSensy.

Important: You must have an AiSensy paid plan to follow the steps below and connect TagMango with AiSensy.
Steps to connect TagMango with AiSensy
Step 1. Request Project ID & Password
Send an email to [email protected] using your registered TagMango email ID.
Mention your WhatsApp Business API number and request your Project ID & Password.
⏳ You’ll receive your credentials within 24 hours of sending the email.
Step 2: Connect AiSensy with TagMango
Log in to your TagMango account.
Go to:
Dashboard → Automation → WhatsApp Automation → Account Management → Connect WhatsApp Business Account.In the pop-up, enter your Project ID & Password and click Validate.
4. Once validated, your integration is complete! 🎉
Step 3: Create & Connect WhatsApp Template messages
Now that AiSensy is connected, let’s create a workflow that enables you to send WhatsApp reminders, confirmations, or promotions instantly.
First, you need to create a pre-approved template message in AiSensy and create an API campaign.
Follow these steps below to create a template message in AiSensy and create an API campaign.
Important: Only text based templates are available for Whatsapp Automation and Broadcasts in TagMango. You can use image-based and other media based templates to send broadcasts directly from AI Sensy.
1. In AiSensy, navigate to the "Templates" section & create a new template message by clicking "+New"
2. Provide necessary details such as template name, category, and message content

Important: Add parameters enclosed in curly braces like {{1}} which will later be used to map important user attributes like the user's name, number, email, link etc.
Make sure to add all the parameters depending on your use case.
E.g. if you are sending a purchase confirmation message, you will need to add the user's name, email, course name to the message. So, add these parameters accordingly.

3. Submit the template for approval
4. Once approved, the template will be available for use in campaigns

Step 4: Go to TagMango Dashboard and link these WhatsApp templates
1. In the TagMango dashboard, go to “Templates” and tap on “Sync” to make sure all the new template messages you created in AiSensy are properly synced
2. In the TagMango dashboard, go to "Events Personalisation" and tap the gear icon
3. Select the template message you created earlier in the AiSensy dashboard.
Search for your newly approved template in AiSensy and select it.
Note: Make sure the template includes all the parameters you want to personalize for your users.
Parameters are written inside curly braces like this → {{parameter}}
Using these, you can personalize details such as the user’s name, number, webinar name, timing, etc.
After selecting the template, tap Next.
4. Map the template message variables
Now, map each parameter with the value it should contain.
Example: In the image below, parameter
{{1}}is mapped to the user’s{{name}}.
This way, your users will receive messages personalized with their own names.
Once you’ve mapped all parameters, tap Save.
5. Your WhatsApp template message automation is now ready🎉
