Requirements to connect JoonWeb with AiSensy
Before starting, make sure you have:
An active AiSensy account with a WhatsApp Business API approved
An active JoonWeb website or eCommerce store
An API key generated from your AiSensy dashboard
Once these are ready, you can proceed with the integration.
Steps to connect JoonWeb with AiSensy
Step 1: Log in to JoonWeb
Visit JoonWeb.com and log in to your account.
Select your active website or eCommerce store by clicking Manage.
From the left menu, click Manage Apps.
Search for AiSensy.
Step 2: Install the AiSensy App
Install the AiSensy App from the app list

Step 3: Generate API Key in AiSensy
Log in to your AiSensy Dashboard.
Go to Manage → API Keys.
Copy an existing API key or create a new one.
⚠️ Important: Keep this API key secure and do not share it publicly.
Step 4: Enter API Key in JoonWeb
Open the AiSensy App inside your JoonWeb dashboard.
Paste the API key you copied from AiSensy.
Save the details to complete the connection.
Your Joonweb website is now successfully connected with AiSensy.
Now, let's create a WhatsApp automation event inside Joonweb that will trigger WhatsApp messages to your customers via AiSensy.
Steps to create a WhatsApp automation event in Joonweb
Step 1: In AiSensy app, create WhatsApp Templates
Now that AiSensy is connected, let’s create a workflow that enables you to send WhatsApp messages based on certain events like order confirmation & more.
First, you need to create a pre-approved template message in AiSensy and create an API campaign.
Follow these steps below to create a template message in AiSensy and create an API campaign.
In AiSensy, navigate to the "Templates" section & create a new template message by clicking "+New"
Provide necessary details such as template name, category, and message content

Important: Add parameters enclosed in curly braces like {{1}} which will later be used to map important user attributes like the user's name, number, email, link etc.
Make sure to add all the parameters depending on your use case.
E.g. if you are sending a purchase confirmation message, you will need to add the user's name, email etc to the message. So, add these parameters accordingly.

Submit the template for approval
Once approved, the template will be available for use in campaigns

Step 2: Create a Campaign on the AiSensy Platform
After creating the template, it's now time to launch the API campaign that will help automate the WhatsApp message to your customers.
Go to the "Campaigns" section in AiSensy.
Click on "Launch" and select API Campaign
Under Campaign name, add the name of your Campaign which can be anything that describes your audience and goals. E.g. "JoonWeb New Order"
Select the approved template message you created earlier and make the campaign live in AiSensy.
Save and activate the campaign.
Step 3: Create an Automation in JoonWeb
In the Joonweb App, go to Manage apps
Select AiSensy and pick Automations.
Click Add New Automation.
A setup form will appear.
Step 4: Configure your WhatsApp automation
Enter an Automation Name.
Select the relevant JoonWeb Event (for example, New Order).
Enter the Campaign Name exactly as it exists in AiSensy.
Note: The campaign name entered here must match the API campaign name created in AiSensy.
Add variables and their values as per your WhatsApp template.
Set the status to Active.
Save the automation.
🎉 That’s it! Your WhatsApp automation setup is complete.
What Happens Next
From now on:
Whenever an event occurs on your JoonWeb site,
AiSensy will automatically send a WhatsApp notification to your users.
You can repeat the same process to set up automations for other events like abandoned carts or new signups.
